Today we’re going to help you get to know Pastor Eric and he’s going to provide some tips on parenting in this summer post-COVID, but more than that, he’s going to talk about what spiritual growth looks like at home and what our identity is outside of parenthood.
We are aware of the social unrest going on out there with protests in multiple cities, and we have not been ignoring it as the church. You have been talking about it in your groups, you have been praying, you have been playing your part as citizens of the kingdom of heaven to speak truth and love to a broken and hurting world. The killing of Mr. George Floyd is a tragic reminder racism is a current and present danger.
The pastors here and across all 14 of our Woodside campuses are working on a document that will provide resources and information so we can all do our part, as we are called to witness Christ to the world.
Pastor Eric came to Woodside about 18 months ago from the state of Wisconsin with his wife Suzy, and four daughters. How long have you been married? How old is your oldest? Youngest?
Here are my five questions:
- What were you like as an elementary school student?
- How can I plan our very best family summer?
- How do I help my kids navigate through anxiety?
- What does spiritual growth look like at home?
- My identity outside of being a parent?
