I’m a Xian—go youth group—my parents will never know… WHAT HAVE I NOT SURRENDERED TO THE LORD? Children, Health, Temper, Relationships, Finances, Future. Luke warm, half hearted, partially surrendered life. Jesus is no part time Lord—he doesn’t want part time followers. 9That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. 11 As the Scripture says, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame.” (Rom 10:8-12) Savior and Lord—free gift! Casual approach—buddy, homeboy. Not just little Lord Jesus in manger… dying Lord Jesus on cross. Risen soon returning King of Kings. Big difference calling Jesus Lord—surrendering to Him as Lord. We want God to prove himself so we can trust Him. God wants us to trust Him so He can prove Himself.   Faith comes first! Cannot please him without faith! Is is Lord of all or not Lord at all. 7 For none of us lives for ourselves alone, and none of us dies for ourselves alone. 8 If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. (Romans 14:7-8) Trust in the Lord with all your heart
