And they glorified God because of me. (Galatians 1:24) It blows my mind that God will be glorified despite of me, my past, my current actions, or anything shameful I am going to do going on in the future. That’s something to think about and thank God for today. The Apostle Paul says that he was a horrible person before he converted by the grace of God into faith in Jesus Christ. However, despite everything he did to terrorize the Christians in the first century, he was used by God for greater good in the face of all the evil that he was responsible for. If a murderer, who set the Roman empire on fire with genocide, can be redeemed through the work, mercy and love of God, then just imagine what God will do through you. Nothing you can do should make you ashamed of what God will change within you and do through you. Now, we need to believe that God can do it and allow God to do it. You should never be ashamed because God will and can redeem it.
