What does a person “full of the Spirit” look like? And by God’s grace, can I be such a person?

And Stephen, full of grace and power, was doing great wonders and signs among the people. (Acts 6:8)

I want to propose that those people who are full of faith are also full of power. As a result of that faith, the power of God is gracing them. Now, try to follow my logic here because I want to end with the conclusion I just made in my previous statement. When we are full of faith, we are emptied of ourselves. When we are emptied of ourselves, we are subsequently being filled up with God’s grace. We are emptied of ourselves because in being filled with faith, we are moving away from our own abilities and begin relying on God. As we are relying on God, His grace proves to be powerful. It is the power of God that does wonderful things and signs. Back to the question: “Can I be such a person?” The answer is, “absolutely yes, you can be this type of person.” The way to do be that type of person is to start small and be faithful in little, and then a little more, and then a little more. When you are consistently faithful with the little, it will grow in to being full of faith. Let’s pray we can be faithful in little so that we can grow into being filled with faith.
