We lose The Vision because of our own lack of spiritual growth. Therefore, when we lose “the heavenly vision” God has given us, we alone are responsible, not God.

Therefore, O King Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision… (Acts 26:19 ESV)

If we don’t apply our beliefs about God to the issues of everyday life, the vision God gives us will never come to fruition. In this passage we find the Apostle Paul making his case of faith to King Agrippa. He tells the king that he was applying his faith to his daily life. Which in turn causes him to preach the good news of Jesus Christ in all and every circumstance. When he gets knocked down, he gets right up and continues where he left off, and he states this is his vision from God that he has to stay true to. However, I wonder how many of us, when knocked off our initial path or spun around to lose our bearings actually gets up to go back to recapture the vision God gives to us. I’m sure I’ve been knocked off track and I realize how slow I am to get back up and head back in the direction I was heading in the first place. But I realize, as much as you will realize, that the journey back to our dreams from God only come back to life when we apply our faith in God’s plan for us into our daily lives. That means we need to intentionally go and do things in faith even when they seem inconvenient. Recapture the vision you once had from God today. Don’t lose your greatest life and most incredible purpose to anything else.
